Student awards
The ILCC 2024 aims to recognize and encourage exceptional student(*) contributions through Poster and Oral Awards. Students interested in applying for the Student Award must submit an extended abstract, in addition to the conference abstract. The extended abstract should not exceed 3 pages in A4 format.
(*) ILCC 2024 follows international standards, in which 'post-doc' is not considered as a student.
Deadline for extended abstract submission June 24, 2024.

Crystals (MDPI): 1 best poster (USD 300) and 1 best Oral (USD 400)
Symmetry (MDPI): 1 best poster (USD 300)
Crystal Growth & Design (ACS): 1 best Oral (USD 400)
Royal Society of Chemistry: 2 best poster and 2 best Oral (£ 200 book vouchers for each winning work for purchases at the RSC online bookstore)
In addition, all awarded students will receive a certificate.
The presentations will be evaluated according to the criteria described below:
- Depth of understanding of the research topic;
- Thoroughness of the applicant´s research;
- Originality and independence of the applicant´s contribution;
- Overall quality of the presentation;
- Quality of the extended abstract;
